Singing pitch trainer
Sing into your microphone and see which note you are on and how many cents sharp or flat. Practise holding a note and singing scales, and find your range. The sound stays on your device.
Each note plays first; then sing it. The next note comes when you have held it in tune for about a second (or after 6 seconds).
Sing or hum any steady note.

How it works
The app reads short slices of sound from your microphone with the Web Audio API and estimates the pitch with the YIN algorithm (de Cheveigné and Kawahara, 2002). It converts the frequency to the nearest note in equal temperament with A4 = 440 Hz and shows how far you are from it in cents (100 cents = one semitone). In the exercises, a moment counts as “in tune” when you are within ±25 cents of the target — that is our practice threshold, not a musical standard.
Use headphones or a low speaker volume so the reference note does not leak into the microphone. The app ignores the microphone while a reference note plays.
